A sudachi farm where people help people grow.
Kamodani, Tokushima, Japan

Who we are

Kamodani Sudachi Park (KSP) is a sudachi citrus farm in Kamodani, a depopulating mountain village along the Naka River in Tokushima, Japan. Our mission is to build a society where people help people grow. Through two social challenges, the decline of sudachi production and the shrinking population of rural villages, we create growth opportunities for the next generation. In March 2026, we became a Certified B Corporation.

  • Sudachi

A small green citrus fruit from Tokushima, loved in Japanese cuisine for its fresh, bright aroma. Tokushima grows about 98% of Japan’s sudachi.

  • Kamodani

A village in Anan City, Tokushima, on the Shikoku 88-temple pilgrimage route between Temple 20 (Kakurin-ji) and Temple 21 (Tairyu-ji).

  • Mission

To build a society where people help people grow.

Our farm

We turn abandoned farmland into sudachi orchards and run them as a business that works.

  • Scale

About 5 ha of sudachi orchards and about 30 tonnes shipped per year (2026). We plant about 1,000 new trees every year.

  • Zero-waste farming

We sell every grade of fruit, from A to C, through direct contracts with major restaurant chains and food manufacturers.

  • Growing

Cover-crop cultivation without herbicides, managed with robotic mowers, alongside conventional cultivation.

  • Our people

International volunteers (about 300 a year), specified skilled workers, agriculture-welfare partners, parents raising children, and people working with us as a side job or remotely.

  • B Corp

Certified in March 2026 with an overall B Impact Score of 88.9. See our B Corp profile
